A: A sprinkler system is the best way to keep a lush, green lawn. Every other day for 30-45 minutes per zone should do the trick.

Q: What is grub control?
A: Grub control is applied during July to the root system of the grass to prevent damage to the lawn by grubs in September.

Additional Summer Tips:

Inspect trees for deadwood and decay.
Check children and pets for ticks.
Cut your lawn higher and increase watering to prevent burning from extreme heat.
Inspect your landscape for any possible insect damage.
Pruning of flowering trees and shrubs can be performed at this time.
